The MedApps Solution allows Patients / Consumers with chronic conditions to automatically transmit their health readings collected from home medical monitoring devices directly to their Electronic Health Record .

The MedApps Solution provides benefits to the Patient / Consumer by:

• Easily connecting to users’ medical monitors and automatically sending their health data to an electronic health record (EHR)
• Providing greater accuracy and timeliness in recording patients' readings - No need for log books or other forms of manual entry
• Offering care providers the ability to respond to changes in patient conditions in a more timely manner, minimizing advancement of disease states and reducing related costs
• Connecting a greater number of healthcare resources with a broader population of patients
• Reducing the need for in-office doctor visits and unnecessary travel to healthcare facilities (less stress and impact on patients)
  
• Providing the ability to supply health readings from patients’ homes (a more comfortable / relaxed setting)
  
• Reducing costs and time lost from work associated with in-office doctor visits
• Giving / getting peace of mind to family members and others who may have an interest in the condition of the patient, using remote connectivity

MedApps will initially market products, such as HealthPAL and HealthHUB broadly to consumers and directly to those who are financially responsible for the health of individuals (e.g. payer / providers, DMOs, corporate employers, etc.).

Consumers now have the ability to supply personal health data conveniently and seamlessly to a central repository / electronic health record (e.g., Microsoft HealthVault, Google Health).  The data can be reviewed and/or analyzed by clinicians and shared with family and other care providers.  While the MedApps system is targeted towards individuals with chronic disease and medication compliance needs, it also offers value when used in a wellness maintenance program.
